HAIR LOSS SEVERITY CHART

The first chart is relevant to Male Pattern Baldness or Hair Loss.

The most commonly used and recognized chart for male pattern baldness is the Norwood-Hamilton scale, which categorizes various stages of hair loss for men. (See scale Below).

If your going to stop hair loss you have to know what type of hair loss you have first. Not all hair loss products will work in every area of the scalp. Most hair loss products focus only on the vertex or the crown of the scalp, seen in pictures 3V, 4. Once you have hair loss as seen in pictures 5 and 5V its harder to get hair to regrow because the follicle is most likely dead at this stage of hair loss. In this case you want to use a hair loss product that will stop further hair loss like Retane , Inhairit Topical or a product that uses minoxidil like Provillus .
